Strawberry Jello with Beef Gelatin

This homemade natural strawberry jello made with beef gelatin is an easy and healthy snack or dessert that your all family can enjoy. It combines the benefits of fruit with those of grass-fed beef gelatin for a low-sugar, high-protein snack that is rich in vitamins and good for your gut and so much more. Equipment

  • 1 immersion blender or food processor

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound 500 grams strawberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon grass-fed beef gelatin powder
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional

Instructions
 

  • In a medium pot, simmer the strawberries with half the water for about 5 minutes, until softened.
  • Meanwhile, sprinkle the gelatin over the remaining water and let it bloom (absorb) for 5 minutes.
  • Scoop a bit of the hot strawberry liquid into a jar or beaker. Add the bloomed gelatin and blend with an immersion blender until dissolved.
  • Add the rest of the strawberries and liquid, plus honey if using, and puree until smooth.
  • Pour into a glass dish, jar, or molds. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, until fully set.
  • Slice into cubes, scoop into bowls, or cut into fun shapes before serving.

Notes

Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
For extra fun, use silicone molds or cookie cutters to make kid-friendly shapes.
